About Construction Connect
Construction Connect runs live industry events focused on waterproofing, building compliance and defect prevention. For three years, we've brought builders, waterproofers, certifiers, consultants and regulators into the same room to close the gap between what the code expects and what happens on site.
Water ingress, defects and compliance failures remain the biggest sources of disputes and rectification costs in Australian construction. Most of them are preventable. The knowledge exists. It just doesn't always reach the people doing the work.
That's the problem Construction Connect exists to fix.

The 2026 Format
In 2026, we're changing the format. Construction Connect 2026 runs the only two-stage format in Australian construction. Expert led presentations on one stage, live product installations on the other, running simultaneously. You won't just see the latest products. You'll see how they're installed.
Live Demonstration Stage
New for 2026. Running simultaneously with the presentation stage all day, manufacturers and tradespeople will be showing, live on site, exactly how systems are installed and how compliance is actually achieved. Not theory, real application.
Across the day the demonstration stage covers the systems and details where compliance is won or lost: membrane installation, penetration detailing, membrane testing, surface preparation and basement tanking, delivered by the manufacturers' own technical teams with the products in hand.
Move between the two stages however suits you. Every hour on either stage earns 1 CPD point.
Demonstrators across all three cities include Fosroc, Fatra, Bayset, RLA Polymers, Endurax, Sika, Tremco, Projex Group and Waterproofing Integrity.

Each city's program brings together respected experts in waterproofing, compliance, building law and remedial engineering. Speaking in all three cities:
Phil Finnimore | Director NCC Management and Standards, ABCB
Over forty years across building practice, regulation and national standards. Phil has played a key role in technical code writing and NCC amendments.
Ross Taylor | Specialist Waterproofing Consultant, Ross Taylor and Associates
45 years in waterproofing design and forensic analysis. Projects include the Sydney Opera House, Parliament House and Barangaroo.
Sam Parker | Executive Director and Senior Principal, ACOR Consultants
Registered Design Practitioner and Fellow of Engineers Australia. Sam sits on Standards Australia waterproofing committees and advises on NCC Section F.
Maddy Manousaridis | Construction Lawyer
Sydney based construction lawyer specialising in building law, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution. Experienced across NCC legislative frameworks and regulatory reform.
Sarah Bozionelos | Director, Archi-QS
Registered NSW Architect, Design Practitioner and certified Building Inspector. Sarah works across cost planning, defect identification and building consultancy.
Each city also features speakers from its own regulator and industry bodies. In Sydney, that includes Tom Kearney (Executive Director Policy and Programs, Building Commission NSW) and Jeremy Turner (Technical and Policy Manager, AIBS), plus sessions from NEXGEN, ACRA and the Australian Institute of Waterproofing.
